My first bazaar experience.

Every artist dreams of sharing their creations with the world, and for me, that dream is about to take a big step forward. On March 1st & 2nd, 2025, I will be participating in my first-ever artisan bazaar at the Athens Local Market at T.A.F./The Art Foundation! It’s an exciting, nerve-wracking, and truly special moment in my artistic journey.

For years, I’ve poured my heart into painting, experimenting with different techniques, and sharing my work online. Art has always been a personal and fulfilling process for me, but stepping into a physical marketplace is something completely new.

I’ll be honest—I have a mix of emotions. Excitement, anticipation, and a little bit of nervousness. Will people resonate with my art? Will I be able to create meaningful connections? These questions swirl in my mind, but I know this experience will be invaluable, no matter the outcome.

The Athens Local Market is a vibrant gathering of over 70 local artisans, all bringing their handcrafted goods to life. It’s not just a place to sell art—it’s a space to connect, share stories, and be part of a creative community. As someone who usually works behind the scenes in my studio, this is a huge step into a more interactive and immersive artistic world.
